On  15 Dec 1804 Jacob Robbins, of Edgecombe Co. to Elisha Robbins also of Edgecombe Co.  "in consideration of the natural love and affection I have and bear unto my beloved son" and "me hereto moving" a tract of land where I now live and one negro boy named Balaam and one negro girl named (Lot or Sal), my oxen, other cattle, horses, hogs, sheep one feather bed and furniture and gees, signed Jacob Robbins

On September 12, 1833, Clerk Isaac Norfleet sold Jacob Robbins (Jr.) for
$230.00, on the petition of Duncan Robbins and others that the land be
sold for division, 348 acres that Elisha Robbins died possessed of adjoining David Williams, Burwell Land, and Hardy Flowers,
witnessed by: James M. Redmond.

The account of the estate of Elisha Robbins, deceased, in the hands of administrator Matthew Whitehead, from October 4, 1826 to January 17, 1829, was examined by Moses Baker, John Mercer, David Williams, and William D. Petway:  a note had been collected from Harmon Williford and payments had been made to Henry Austin, Dr. Richard Bell, Polly Cobb, John Dawes, Dr. Ephraim Dickens, Hardy Flowers, Benjamin Lancaster, Littleberry Land, William D. Petway, Frederick F. Robbins, Richard Short, Moses Spicer, Allen Taylor, Henry Taylor, William Taylor, David Williams, and Edwin Williford.

 The personal property of Elisha Robbins was sold on October 24, 1826: 2 axes, 2 wedges, cross saw, handsaw, iron hasp, sheep shears, mole trap, grindstone, pincers, carpenter's adze, pair of steelyards; 2 fluke hoes, 2 half shares, 2 grubbing hoes, 4 weeding hoes, 3 plow frames, plow gear, 9 cider barrels, some other cider barrels, 12 hogsheads, cart and wheels, body cart,
brandy still, coul-ter, cider trough, open barrel, gum, beegum; loom, flax wheel, warping bars; 3 raw-hides, 9 sheepskins, 2 lots of barrel timber, 4 sides of leather, 2 gallons of honey, some leather, 3 stacks of blade fodder, 2 top stacks and shucks; brindled cow and yearling, red cow and calf, 2 brindled cows, 2 black cows, 2 yearlings, 3 other cattle, 33 hogs, 2 shoats, 6 pigs,
4 beehives, 2 horses~ mare, 26 sheep, 15 geese, 2 hound dogs; 2 feather beds and furnishings, chest of wearing apparel, chest, 6 sitting chairs, table, cupboard and contents, looking glass, case, trunk, case of bottles; lot of books, 2 slates, shot gun, blowing horn, man's saddle; 6 pewter plates, 2 dishes, 8 spoons, some earthen plates, 5 basins, butter pot, knife box with knives and forks, spice mortar, jug, jug of honey, skillet, pot and hooks, griddle, Dutch oven, pot, churn, meal stand, 2 meal sieves, bread tray, 2 flat irons, pair of Candle molds; 2 piggins, 10 baskets, 3 washing tubs, 2 lots of gourds.

 The inventory of Elisha Robbins taken on December 20, 1826 showed 2 slave men, William Clark's account of $15.00, judgment against Edwin Bullock for $12.00, ditto vs. William Taylor (son of Teagle Taylor) for $52.00 "doubtful," ditto $80.00 ditto, due bill vs. Thomas Wells for
$9.73 "doubtful," note vs. Harmon Williford for $2.32 "doubtful," ditto Allen Taylor $5.10 ditto, $21.58 ditto; account vs. John Williams for $.25 "doubtful," ditto Harmon Williford for $.25 ditto.
